The barrel is 3.85 inches, cold-hammer-forged with polygonal rifling for durability. The slide wears HK's Hostile Environment nitrocarburized finish, and the polymer frame integrates a MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail on the dustcover.
Ergonomics are a focus with the textured, modular grip system that includes interchangeable backstraps and side panels. Sights are fixed, with a high-contrast painted front dot and an open rectangular notch rear for a clear sight picture.
Chambered in 9mm Luger with a standard 15+1 capacity, this pistol includes an extractor-based loaded-chamber indicator with a red witness.
