This Browning Model 12 Limited Edition Grade I in 28 gauge is a Japanese-made (Miroku) reproduction of the classic Winchester Model 12, produced in 1990 as part of a limited run of about 7,000. It retains the traditional Model 12 takedown system and features a 28 inch vent-rib barrel with bead sights, polished blued steel throughout, and checkered walnut furniture with a 15.25 inch length of pull. The bright-finish bolt and 5+1 tubular magazine complete the faithful configuration.
Condition
Overall Condition: Very good condition, showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.
Bore Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Specific Condition Notes: There are minor, superficial scratches and blemishes present.

This limited-run Grade I series reproduction was manufactured in Japan by Miroku for Browning. Approximately 7,000 were produced in 28 gauge, and the NM872 serial suffix denotes the 28-gauge Limited Edition Grade I variant.
The shotgun features a 28 inch vent-rib barrel with bead sights, right-side ejection, and bottom loading. Its Model 12 takedown architecture is retained, providing the familiar breakdown design of the original.
Construction is polished blued steel with a bright-finish bolt. Receiver and barrel markings include "BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q., MADE IN JAPAN."
The full-size configuration uses a 5+1 tubular magazine. Furniture consists of a checkered walnut pistol-grip stock with recoil pad and a matching checkered walnut forend. Length of pull measures 15.25 inches.
