This DPMS Panther Arms Mod. A-15 is a Minnesota-era AR-15 pattern rifle in 5.56mm NATO with St. Cloud, Minnesota receiver markings. It features a 16-inch DPMS steel barrel with a 1:9 twist and a slick-side flat-top upper with an integral Picatinny rail (no forward assist, no ejection-port cover). It is customized with an installed multi-port brake, bolt-on flared magwell funnel, rubber finger-groove pistol grip, and a rail-mounted bipod.
The bore is bright and clean.

Built on the AR-15 platform, this Mod. A-15 uses a semi-automatic, direct-impingement gas system. The receiver is aluminum alloy with a matte anodized finish, and it carries St. Cloud, Minnesota markings that identify it as Minnesota-era DPMS production.
The slick-side flat-top upper provides an integral Picatinny top rail. There is no forward assist or ejection-port cover. An aluminum free-float carbine-length quad-rail handguard adds accessory rail space on all sides. No iron sights are installed.
The 16-inch steel barrel is threaded and factory-stamped "DPMS 5.56 1-9." A multi-port brake/compensator is installed. The bore and rifling are in excellent condition, with a clean mirror finish and sharp lands and grooves.
Furniture includes a collapsible tan polymer stock and an aftermarket rubber finger-groove pistol grip. A bolt-on flared magwell funnel is installed. Controls include a manual safety selector, and the rifle feeds from standard AR-15 magazines with a capacity of 30+1.
An adjustable bipod is mounted to the underside rail, and a tan polymer accessory is strapped to the lower rail section. The top rail and quad-rail handguard provide ample mounting real estate for user-selected accessories.
