The 5-inch bull barrel is paired with a striker-fired action and a flat-faced trigger. This setup offers a consistent, straight-back trigger press and strong barrel support for the 10mm chambering.
Sight configuration includes a green tritium front dot marked "TG-H3" and a dovetailed square-notch rear, providing a durable, low-profile setup with a bright front reference.
The stainless-steel slide wears a Nitron finish and uses an external extractor. The black polymer XSeries grip module adds an extended beavertail, a deep undercut at the trigger guard, and aggressive texturing for a secure hold.
An integral accessory rail with multiple slots is molded into the frame for mounting lights or other rail-compatible equipment. The modular stainless-steel fire control unit is removable, supporting the P320 system's interchangeability.
Markings include "XTEN" and "P320" on the slide, "10mm AUTO SIG SAUER" on the barrel hood, and "NEWINGTON, NH, USA" molded into the frame. This pistol is made in the United States and is identified by SIG Sauer part number 320X5-10-BXR3-R2.
