Franklin Armory FAI-15 AR Pistol, .223 Wylde – BRN-180S 10.5 in Upper, BFSIII Binary Trigger, Side-Folding Brace
This custom Franklin Armory FAI-15 pairs a Brownells BRN-180S 10.5 inch upper with a Franklin Armory FAI-15 lower that has the BFSIII binary trigger installed. It uses a short-stroke gas piston system with a self-contained recoil assembly, enabling operation with the Strike Industries side-folding pistol brace folded. The .223 Wylde chamber, nitride-finished 4150 CMV barrel, and free-float M-LOK handguard round out a feature-rich, AR-15 compatible package.

Overall Condition: Very good condition, showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.
Bore Overall Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.
Specific Condition Notes: This firearm is in great shape. There are minor, superficial scratches and blemishes present.

The FAI-15 lower is factory roll-marked Franklin Armory, Minden, NV, and is fitted with the Franklin Armory BFSIII binary trigger. The three-position selector features clear pictogram markings and enables fire on both the pull and the release when set to binary mode.
The Brownells BRN-180S upper (marked BRN-180 on the left side) uses a short-stroke gas piston and a self-contained recoil system that allows the pistol to run with the brace folded. It includes a two-position adjustable gas system and mates to standard AR-15 pattern lowers.
The barrel is a 10.5 inch 4150 CMV unit with a nitride finish, threaded 1/2x28 with a multi-port muzzle device installed. The .223 Wylde chamber accepts both .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO, and the 1:8 twist supports a broad range of bullet weights.
Furniture and controls include a free-float aluminum M-LOK handguard with slots at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock and a continuous 1913 top rail, a right-side reciprocating charging handle that is user-reversible, a Magpul pistol grip, and a Strike Industries side-folding pistol stabilizer/brace with a skeletonized strut.
The receivers are 7075-T6 aluminum with a hardcoat anodized finish. Capacity is 30+1 with the included Magpul PMAG. This USA-made build brings together the Franklin Armory FAI-15 lower with BFSIII, the Brownells BRN-180S upper, and the Strike Industries brace in a compact, piston-driven AR pistol format.
