This Kel-Tec P15 is the polymer-frame variant identified by its single-slot accessory rail and slim, 0.875 in slide. It is KelTec's first striker-fired handgun, pairing a 4 in barrel with a 6.6 in overall length and a light 16.3 oz unloaded weight. Notable features include tritium night sights with a Hi-Viz fiber-optic/tritium front, a reversible triangular magazine release, and a user-configurable three-position selector that manages the grip safety and magazine disconnect. The P15's slide features front and rear serrations with lightening cuts near the muzzle, and the barrel hood is marked "9 x 19 mm." The black slide and frame present a cohesive finish and keep the profile compact and easy to manage.
Sight alignment is handled by tritium night sights: a Hi-Viz fiber-optic + tritium front and an adjustable tritium two-dot rear. This setup provides a bright, consistent sight picture in varied lighting.
Controls include a reversible, triangular magazine-release button and an internal striker safety. A user-configurable three-position selector controls the grip safety and magazine disconnect, allowing the owner to tailor the safety setup within the pistol's designed options.
The polymer frame wears KelTec's distinctive "gator" texturing for secure purchase. Capacity is 15+1 with the included 15-round magazine, and a 12-round magazine is also provided.
