Chambered in 9mm Luger, this Pitbull uses Charter’s proprietary spring-loaded extractor star to hold and eject rimless cartridges, eliminating the need for moon clips. It carries five rounds in a long-fluted cylinder and operates in double-action/single-action with an exposed hammer.
The handgun is built from matte/bead-blast stainless steel throughout, including the 2.2 inch barrel, frame, and cylinder. A shrouded ejector rod streamlines the profile for carry and handling on the large-frame snub platform.
Sight configuration is straightforward and durable, with a serrated ramp front sight and an integral rear notch. Controls include an exposed hammer and a transfer bar safety system, paired with black textured rubber finger-groove grips bearing Charter Arms medallions.
Factory markings include PIT BULL 9MM on the left side of the barrel and CHARTER ARMS • SHELTON, CT • MADE IN U.S.A. on the right. The model designation 79920 is observed, and the serial number location is on the right side of the frame ahead of the trigger guard.
