The Hunter Stainless configuration centers on a steel receiver and a 22 in free-floated, sporter-contour barrel, both finished in matte stainless. The barrel is unthreaded. The stock is a black composite unit with molded textured grip and fore-end panels, an Inflex recoil pad, and a front sling swivel stud.
Its action uses a three-lug, 60-degree bolt for short lift and fast cycling. Safety features include a two-position safety, a bolt release/bolt-unlock button located ahead of the safety, and a cocking indicator. The single-stage, user-adjustable M.O.A. trigger is set at 3.5 for a clean, consistent break.
