The Mark V magnum action uses nine locking lugs and a short 54-degree bolt lift for fast cycling. This rifle includes a spiral-fluted bolt body and a 3+1 capacity with a hinged floorplate bottom metal. It is configured without iron sights and comes with a Picatinny rail installed for mounting optics.
The 26-inch barrel is spiral fluted, threaded 1/2x28, and fitted with a radial muzzle brake. The barrel is clearly marked “USE ONLY 300 WBY MAG.” to denote its chambering. The bore presents clean, sharp rifling consistent with the stated condition.
A uniform bronze Cerakote finish covers the barrel, receiver, and bottom metal for a cohesive, weather-resistant exterior. The composite stock features a Monte Carlo profile with a raised cheekpiece, a textured black surface with bronze/tan sponge accents, and sling swivel studs. Length of pull is 13.5 inches.
This is a Wyoming-era (2019–present) U.S.-made Mark V, bearing “WEATHERBY • SHERIDAN, WY” and “MARK V • MADE IN U.S.A.” markings. It reflects the modern production period following Weatherby’s move to Sheridan, Wyoming.
