The heart of this shotgun is the Mossberg 590 platform in 12 gauge with a 3 inch chamber and a 5+1 configuration. It uses an 18.5 inch steel barrel with a true cylinder bore smoothbore, optimized for wide-pattern performance with shot. Right-side ejection and a bottom loading port support fast, intuitive operation.
Construction is robust and purpose-driven: an aluminum alloy receiver and steel barrel wear a uniform matte black finish. Controls include Mossberg’s tang safety and a polymer trigger housing. The stock is black synthetic with molded grip panels and a fixed 14.0 inch length of pull, paired with a ribbed, corn-cob style synthetic forend for a secure grasp.
Practical enhancements are already in place. A receiver-mounted Picatinny top rail with an integrated 6-round side saddle keeps extra shells on hand and provides a solid mounting surface. A LimbSaver recoil pad is installed for added comfort, and a black nylon sling comes mounted for immediate carry.
This is the standard Mossberg 590 configuration (not the 590A1), with a non–heavy-wall barrel and an open-ended magazine tube capped with a removable end cap. Sighting is straightforward with a brass bead front and no rear sight. Front and rear sling attachments are present and in use with the included sling.
