This Springfield Armory XD-9 4" Service Model pairs a full-size polymer frame with a striker-fired, short-recoil system and a 16+1 capacity. It features a hammer-forged, Melonite-finished 4-inch barrel, Melonite-finished slide with front and rear serrations, and practical indicators for both loaded chamber and striker status. Made in Croatia by HS Produkt and imported by Springfield Armory, it includes two 16-round magazines and XD Gear accessories in the factory case.

The 4" Service Model configuration delivers full-size handling with a 4-inch, hammer-forged barrel treated in Melonite for surface hardness and corrosion resistance. The single captive recoil spring on a full-length guide rod supports the short-recoil, locked-breech operating system.
The slide carries a black Melonite finish with front and rear cocking serrations, a loaded-chamber indicator, and a striker-status indicator. Fixed 3-dot sights provide a straightforward sight picture.
The black polymer frame includes an accessory rail and an ambidextrous magazine release. Safety features include a grip safety and a trigger safety.
This XD-9 is chambered in 9mm Luger with a 16+1 capacity, matching the full-size Service Model profile. It comes with two factory steel magazines.
Manufactured in Croatia by HS Produkt and imported/marketed by Springfield Armory, Inc. (Geneseo, IL), the pistol bears import markings including "SPRINGFIELD ARMORY U.S.A.," "SPRINGFIELD INC., GENESEO, IL," and "MADE IN CROATIA." The case label code begins with XD9101 for the 4-inch 9mm Service Model.
