The convertible dual-cylinder configuration lets this Single-Six run both .22 LR and .22 WMR. The installed .22 Magnum cylinder is fluted and rollmarked "MAGNUM CAL.", and the .22 LR cylinder is also fluted; both are stainless steel with a brighter, high-polish finish than the brushed/satin frame and barrel.
The 5.5" cold hammer-forged stainless steel barrel uses a 1:14" right-hand twist. The frame, cylinder, barrel, and receiver are all stainless; the frame and barrel have a brushed/satin sheen, while both cylinders have a brighter, high-polish finish.
Sights include a ramped front blade and a windage/elevation-adjustable square-notch rear, offering precise alignment. An ejector housing with Ruger’s crescent-style ejector head is fitted for spent case extraction.
This single-action-only revolver uses a transfer-bar safety system. It has a six-round capacity and wears smooth hardwood grip panels with Ruger medallions. It is made in the USA.
