Springfield Armory 1911 Range Officer 9mm, Full-Size, Two-Tone, 5 inch Barrel, Target Sights, NM-Prefix
This Springfield Armory 1911 Range Officer in 9mm Luger is a full-size, two-tone pistol with a Government-length 5 inch barrel and a target sight setup. It features an NM-prefix serial and Geneseo, IL frame marking, a dark slide over a silver-tone steel frame, and a clean, straightforward Range Officer configuration. Custom Pachmayr wrap-around finger-groove grips are installed, with the original grip panels included.
The slide is configured with rear serrations only, a lowered and flared ejection port, and a red fiber-optic front sight paired with a fully adjustable target rear sight. The action is single-action only with a long, lightened three-hole trigger and a skeletonized commander-style hammer. Safety features include a left-side manual thumb safety and a high-ride beavertail grip safety with a memory pad.
The frame uses a standard magwell with a light bevel, a flat mainspring housing, and a smooth front strap. The barrel uses a standard 1911 barrel bushing and a GI-style recoil spring plug. Capacity is 9+1 with included single-stack steel 9mm magazines marked "9MM."
This example maintains the clean, practical Range Officer layout with its two-tone finish and target sights, while the installed Pachmayr wrap-around grips provide a secure hold. The pistol comes with two 9-round magazines, a Springfield Armory factory hard case, and useful range gear and accessories.

Bore Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.
