The BRJ (V-Spiral) configuration features a 21 inch spiral-fluted, heavy-contour carbon steel barrel with a matte blued finish. The factory 1:9 twist is optimized for .17 HMR, and the rifle is set up with no iron sights from the factory.
The laminated hardwood stock uses a Monte Carlo comb and a wide beavertail fore-end with ventilation. It includes a rubber recoil pad and sling swivel studs, providing a solid interface for field or bench use. Length of pull measures 14.0 inches.
Savage's user-adjustable AccuTrigger with a blade safety and a two-position manual safety provides a clean, consistent trigger system. Feeding is via a detachable box magazine with a maximum capacity of 10+1.
The receiver is drilled and tapped and comes with two-piece scope bases installed, ready for your choice of optic bases and rings. Overall length is approximately 40 inches, with an approximate weight of 6.3 lb.
