The X95’s bullpup configuration places the action behind the trigger, delivering a 16.5 in barrel within a compact 26.125 in overall length and a listed weight of 7.95 lb (unloaded). The polymer frame and stock keep the rifle durable and well-balanced, with an integrated trigger guard and a finger-grooved pistol grip. Length of pull is 15.0 in.
The barrel is CrMoV steel, cold hammer forged and chrome-lined for service life and corrosion resistance. It has a 1:7 RH twist to stabilize a broad range of 5.56 projectiles and comes threaded with an A2-style birdcage flash hider.
The operating system is a long-stroke gas piston with a closed rotating bolt, as noted by IWI. Controls include an AR-style magazine release and a left-side charging handle. The rifle is compatible with STANAG/AR-15 magazines and has a 30+1 capacity. A right-side ejection port cover is present.
Sight and mounting features include a full-length Picatinny top rail with numbered slots and folding iron sights: a front folding blade with a tritium insert and a folding rear aperture. The vented polymer fore-end incorporates a molded hand stop for secure indexing.
Markings and origin details include a "P" proof on the barrel, "MADE IN ISRAEL," and "IWI US – MIDDLETOWN, PA." The rifle is finished in black throughout the frame, receiver, and stock components.
