The Model 70 action provides controlled, confident operation with a three-position wing safety. This example is chambered in .300 WSM and uses an internal 3+1 magazine sized for WSM cartridges. The steel receiver and barrel wear a blued/black finish, and the rifle is configured without iron sights.
The 24-inch steel barrel is fitted with a radial-ported muzzle brake and an elastomer barrel de-resonator/tuner ring. These installed components reflect the rifle’s customized setup as received.
For optics, the receiver is drilled and tapped and currently fitted with two cross-slot (Weaver/Picatinny-style) scope bases. This gives the buyer a straightforward path to mounting a compatible scope.
The installed figured hardwood stock features black textured grip and fore-end panels, sling swivel studs, a straight comb, and a rubber buttpad. Length of pull is 13.75 inches. The original black synthetic stock with integral recoil pad is also included, offering an alternate configuration. A G-prefix serial indicates post-1968 Model 70 production; combined with the .300 WSM chambering, this example dates to the early 2000s or later.
