The FSAAP FR-9 is a U.S.-made AR-9 pistol built around a dedicated 9mm blowback system and a 7.5-inch threaded barrel. It uses Glock-pattern double-stack magazines and features a continuous Picatinny top rail, a slick-side 9mm upper, and a free-float handguard. This example includes four magazines, including an extended 33-round option.

The FR-9 uses an AR-15–pattern lower configured for Glock-pattern double-stack magazines and a paddle-style magazine release. Selector markings are "SAFE" and "SEMI," and the lower bears "FR-9," "FRAME BY: FSAAP FORT SMITH, AR CAL MULTI," and the FSAAP compass/star logo.
Its dedicated slick-side 9mm upper features an enlarged ejection port and omits both the dust cover and forward assist. A continuous full-length Picatinny rail spans the receiver and handguard for mounting accessories as desired.
The 7.5-inch barrel is threaded and fitted with a multi-port muzzle device. The free-float handguard has longitudinal slots and clamp screws near the barrel nut, providing a stable interface around the barrel.
Operation is simple blowback with a manual safety selector. The pistol receiver extension (buffer tube) wears a foam sleeve, and the platform is full-size with an AR-9 layout. Capacity is listed at 33+1, and the package includes one extended 33-round magazine plus three 17-round magazines.
