Built on Aero Precision’s large-frame AR platform, the M5 uses the DPMS/LR-308 pattern and is chambered in .308 Win. The lower is roll-marked MODEL M5 and CAL MULTI, and the rifle carries a uniform matte black finish. It is made in the USA.
The rifle is configured for California compliance with a permanently attached magazine and a 10-round capacity. This fixed-magazine setup is integral to the rifle as offered.
The 16-inch barrel is threaded and fitted with an A2-style flash hider. A free-float Aero ATLAS S-ONE aluminum handguard provides M-LOK slots with factory markings, supporting accessory placement while keeping weight down.
The upper receiver includes a forward assist, shell deflector, ejection-port cover, and a T-marked Picatinny rail with T2–T18 visible. Folding front and rear iron sights are installed, and the top rail offers straightforward mounting for compatible accessories.
