This Performance Center Carry Comp model is designed around control and shootability. The integrated Power Port compensating system vents gas forward through the barrel and slide ports, helping manage muzzle rise while keeping the overall length in a compact footprint.
The 4.22 in stainless steel barrel is ported and nitrided, and it pairs with a stainless steel slide finished in Armornite. The slide features an optic cut marked Type 6, front and rear serrations, lightening cuts, and a slide port, giving the pistol a purpose-built upper with practical enhancements.
The M2.0 polymer frame is finished in black and uses the aggressive M2.0 texture for a secure hold. Interchangeable palmswell backstraps allow the grip to be tuned to the shooter’s hand, and an accessory rail supports compatible lights or accessories as needed.
Controls and sights are configured for confident use: an ambidextrous slide stop, a flat-faced trigger, and tall iron sights with a tall post front and a notch rear. The pistol is striker-fired with a short-recoil, locked-breech action, includes a trigger safety, and has no external manual thumb safety.
Chambered in 9mm Luger, the compact-size frame feeds from 15-round magazines (two included) for a 15+1 capacity. This example is the Performance Center SKU 13989 and was manufactured in the United States at Smith & Wesson’s Maryville, Tennessee facility.
