What’s Included
- Izhevsk IJ-70-18A 9x18mm Makarov pistol
- 1x 8-round single-stack steel magazine with elongated witness slot
Built at IMEZ and imported by KBI, this IJ-70-18A represents the export-focused evolution of the Makarov platform. The pistol is marked with KBI, INC HBG, PA and Made in Russia import stamps, confirming its 1990s import history and Russian origin.
The fixed-barrel, blowback design is paired with a compact 3.68 in barrel and an 8+1 single-stack configuration. Controls include a DA/SA trigger, a left-side slide-mounted safety/decocker with a red fire dot, and a heel-type magazine release.
Sighting is a standout feature: a fixed front blade is matched to an adjustable micrometer-style rear sight with windage and elevation adjustments—an export-style setup not found on standard Soviet PMs. The slide adds practical touches such as vertical rear serrations and an anti-glare rib.
The pistol is all steel with a uniform blued finish on the frame and slide. Grips are black checkered synthetic Baikal units with star medallions and Made in Russia molded at the base. A lanyard ring at the grip frame completes the classic service-pistol profile.
