The B-Mag platform here is chambered in .17 WSM and uses a detachable rotary magazine for an 8+1 capacity. Its action incorporates cock-on-close operation with rear locking lugs and a thread-in barrel headspacing system.
The 22-inch heavy-profile stainless barrel is threaded and finished with a recessed target crown. A 1:8 twist rate supports .17 WSM performance, and the stainless finish matches the receiver for a clean, uniform look.
Savage's user-adjustable AccuTrigger is fitted from the factory. The receiver is drilled and tapped, and this rifle comes with two-piece scope bases installed. There are no iron sights.
A custom Upgraded Adjustable Stock is installed, built from laminated hardwood with an aluminum buttplate assembly, Boyds-branded rubber buttpad, rubberized grip panels, sling studs, a flush-cup QD socket, and a forend accessory rail section. Length of pull is set at 14.0 inches. The original grey laminated thumbhole stock is also included, uninstalled.
