This customized Ruger PC Carbine stands out with its takedown design, cold hammer-forged heavy-contour barrel, and an interchangeable magazine-well system. It comes upgraded with a Sightmark miniature reflex green-dot optic and a Harris-style bipod clamped to a short Picatinny/Weaver rail under the fore-end. The rifle features a fluted, 1/2x28 threaded barrel with a knurled thread protector, reversible controls, and iron sights — all in a durable Type III hard-coat anodized receiver, made in the USA.

The PC Carbine’s takedown system uses a rotating locking collar to separate the barrel and receiver assemblies for compact transport and quick cleaning. The receiver is aluminum alloy with a Type III hard-coat anodized finish and marked “PC CARBINE” and “RUGER NEWPORT, NH • USA.” A receiver-top Picatinny-style rail provides direct mounting for optics; a Sightmark miniature reflex green-dot is already installed.
The 16.12-inch chrome-moly steel barrel is cold hammer-forged, heavy contour, and fluted. It is threaded 1/2x28 with a knurled thread protector and has a 1:10 RH twist. Factory iron sights include a protected post front and an adjustable aperture rear, offering a clear sighting option alongside the mounted optic.
Ruger’s dead-blow blowback action incorporates a tungsten weight to moderate bolt movement. Controls are user-adaptable, with a reversible charging handle (currently installed on the right side) and a reversible magazine release. A cross-bolt safety is positioned in the trigger guard.
The rifle’s glass-filled nylon stock is finished in black and includes LOP spacers for adjustment to a 13.0-inch length of pull, a soft rubber buttpad, sling swivel studs, and textured grip panels. The interchangeable magazine-well system supports Ruger SR-series/Security-9 and Glock magazines; the insert installed is marked “SR9 9E,” and the included magazines are SR-series pattern steel.
