Notable updates include the absence of a magazine disconnect, a beveled magazine well, and revised feed ramp and extractor geometry. Four 15-round steel magazines are included.

This pistol runs in single-action only with a rowel hammer, a left-side thumb safety, and a standard magazine release. Capacity is 15+1, and the frame includes a beveled magazine well. Springfield Armory specifies revised feed ramp and extractor geometry and omits a magazine disconnect.
Sight configuration is a front blade with a single white dot and a serrated 'Tactical Rack' ledge rear sight. Checkered walnut grips provide a traditional look and a positive hold.
