The Lone Eagle uses a single-shot rotating breech with a rear "cannon-breech" layout. A manual safety sits above the trigger as per factory design, and a left-side cocking lever charges the action. The smooth-faced trigger complements the pistol's focused, single-round setup with a 1-round capacity.
The 14-inch steel barrel is chambered in .30-06 Springfield and is finished to match the blued/oxide steel breech assembly. The barrel top is factory drilled and tapped along the centerline with filler screws installed for scope base mounting; no base is present. The muzzle carries a plain crown.
Iron sights include a Williams-marked, click-adjustable rear sight and a ramped, serrated front sight for a clear sight picture. Barrel roll marks read "LONE EAGLE PISTOL 30-06 SPRG." and "MAGNUM RESEARCH, INC., MINNEAPOLIS, MINN."
The one-piece gray molded synthetic grip/stock integrates the trigger guard and adds a pronounced palm swell with an undercut for hand placement. The frame is synthetic in a matching gray finish, complementing the blued steel components. Made in the United States, production of this model ran approximately from 1994 to 2000.
