The Scorpion 3+ is a simple blowback 9mm pistol built on a fiberglass-reinforced polymer receiver and frame with a black finish. The model plate reads 'CZ SCORPION 3 PLUS,' and the pistol carries the CZ-USA, Kansas City, KS import mark.
Its factory cold hammer-forged steel barrel measures approximately 7.8 inches and is threaded 1/2x28 with a thread protector. A full-length top Picatinny rail runs the receiver, and the polymer M-LOK handguard provides slots at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock along with a low-profile hand stop.
Controls are fully ambidextrous, including the manual safety and AR-style magazine release. CZ-branded flip-up adjustable polymer sights are installed front and rear. Capacity is 20+1 using Scorpion 3+ pattern magazines; 3+ magazines are backward compatible with EVO 3 lowers, while older EVO 3 magazines do not lock into 3+ lowers.
This example is upgraded with a Timney drop-in trigger installed for a refined fire-control feel. An SB Tactical side-folding pistol stabilizing brace is fitted. An HB Industries rear QD sling mount/end cap (model 10278A) is included as a separate accessory and cannot be installed concurrently with the SB brace.
