The Bauer Automatic is a stainless, U.S.-made interpretation of the classic Baby Browning design, produced circa 1972–1984. Its micro size, 2.1 in barrel, and 6+1 capacity make it a compact, all-stainless package from this era.
The slide and frame wear a brushed stainless finish, complemented by a longitudinal anti-glare rib across the top of the slide and vertical rear slide serrations for purchase. A right-side ejection port supports the compact slide layout.
It operates on a simple blowback, striker-fired action. The trigger is a smooth, curved type. Sighting is straightforward and fixed, with an integral front blade and a rear notch.
This example retains the model’s signature pearlized synthetic grip panels and the overall stainless construction associated with Bauer-marked production of the period, originating from the United States.
