The American Tactical Alpha-15 is a lightweight AR-15 pattern rifle built around carbon-fiber–reinforced polymer receivers, bringing the unloaded weight to approximately 5.5 lb. The Alpha-15 uses a semi-automatic, direct-impingement system with a carbine-length gas setup. The 16-inch barrel features a 1:8 twist to stabilize a wide range of 5.56 NATO projectiles, and the threaded muzzle allows for compatible muzzle devices.
The rifle includes a free-float M-LOK handguard for accessory mounting and an adjustable, collapsible 6-position stock that sets the length of pull at approximately 10.5 inches. An A2-style pistol grip and a standard magazine release round out the familiar AR-15 controls, along with a manual safety.
Finished in black with carbon-fiber–reinforced polymer receivers, the platform is designed to keep weight down without sacrificing core AR-15 ergonomics. Overall length is approximately 32–36.5 inches depending on stock position.
Capacity is 30+1 (where legal), and the rifle ships with one 30-round ATI polymer magazine. With no sights included from the factory, the flat-top configuration is optic-ready for your preferred sighting solution.
