This Smith & Wesson Bodyguard 2.0 in .380 ACP is the striker-fired, no-thumb-safety variant introduced in 2024 and manufactured in Maryville, Tennessee. It features a micro footprint with a 2.75 inch steel barrel, a black Armornite-treated slide, and a high-visibility orange tritium front sight. The pistol ships with both 12-round and 10-round factory magazines and comes in very good overall condition.

The Bodyguard 2.0 updates the earlier Bodyguard 380 with a striker-fired action while retaining a micro size suited to .380 ACP. This NTS configuration omits a manual thumb safety and relies on a trigger safety and internal safeties. Capacity is 12+1 with the included 12-round magazine, and a 10-round magazine is also provided.
Construction details include a steel 2.75 inch barrel and a slide finished in black Armornite (nitride) with long, aggressive front and rear serrations. The black polymer frame features textured grip panels with S&W medallions and a push-button magazine release that is reversible.
Sight setup consists of a dovetailed U-notch rear and a dovetailed orange front dot with a tritium insert (TG-H3) for visibility in varied lighting. Both sights are dovetailed for durability and serviceability.
Markings and identifiers are consistent with the model and production location: the right side of the slide is marked Smith & Wesson Maryville, TN U.S.A., the left side reads Bodyguard 2.0, and the frame carries the warning Caution: Capable of Firing with Magazine Removed. The factory box end label shows Bodyguard 2.0 .380 NTS 10–12RD and the 2.75 inch barrel, with SKU 13927. MSRP is listed at $449.00.
