The XD-M Elite 3.8 Compact OSP in .45 ACP pairs a compact, carryable footprint with Springfield Armory's Elite features. It includes a match-grade, hammer-forged 3.8 in. barrel, OSP optics-ready slide with Melonite finish, META trigger, and ambidextrous slide stop levers. This example comes with two factory 9-round magazines, a short flared magwell (included, not installed), extra backstraps, and a Springfield Armory soft zippered case.

The 3.8 in. match-grade, hammer-forged barrel is built from forged steel to support consistent accuracy and durability. Chambered in .45 ACP with a 9+1 capacity, this compact configuration offers serious performance in a smaller footprint.
Its forged steel slide features a Melonite finish in matte black and an OSP optics cut for mounting compatible red dot sights. Sighting is handled by a red fiber-optic front and a ledge-style steel rear, providing a clear, duty-ready sight picture.
The META trigger and striker-fired action deliver the Elite series fire control feel, while the grip safety and trigger safety provide built-in passive safety features. Ambidextrous slide stop levers support left- and right-handed manipulation.
The black polymer frame includes interchangeable backstraps for fit tuning and an integral 3-slot accessory rail for lights or other rail-mounted equipment. A short flared magwell is included but not installed. The included factory magazines have numbered witness holes to 9.
