The PPQ M1 configuration features the paddle-style ambidextrous magazine release integrated into the trigger guard, a striker-fired action, and Walther's Quick Defense trigger with short take-up and a crisp, positive reset. Its 4-inch steel barrel is standard and non-threaded, and overall capacity is 15+1 with the included magazines.
Controls are fully ambidextrous with extended slide stop levers, and the frame includes interchangeable backstraps to tailor the grip. A 3-slot accessory rail on the dust cover supports lights or lasers. The slide wears front and rear cocking serrations, and the pistol is finished in matte black over a durable polymer frame.
Sights are a 3-dot set with a windage-adjustable rear, providing a clear sight picture. The bore condition is excellent with sharp rifling, aligning with the pistol's careful prior use and maintenance.
Proof and import markings add useful context: Ulm antler proof and eagle/N nitro proof, DE country/standard code, and BC date code indicating 2012 production. It is an early U.S. import marked "SMITH & WESSON, SPRINGFIELD, MA." Matching serial numbers on the barrel hood and slide are present. The included factory test target and test-fire casing (dated 28.09.2012) round out a well-documented example.
