This rifle follows the traditional Kentucky pattern with a full-length hardwood stock, straight wrist, and brass furniture. The brass set includes a crescent buttplate, long toe plate, trigger guard, sideplate, nose cap, ramrod pipes, and a wide forestock band, giving it the classic frontier-era profile.
The 35" octagonal barrel is fitted with a standing notch rear sight dovetailed into the barrel; sight setup as shown in photos. The long barrel maintains a period-correct profile.
The right-hand flintlock features a pan, frizzen, and frizzen spring, with a swan-neck cock and a single trigger. Decorative scroll engraving on the lockplate adds a tasteful visual detail while maintaining a traditional look.
The rifle is a kit-built assembly and a modern reproduction, offering the aesthetics of an early American longrifle with fresh components. It carries a single-shot, muzzleloading configuration with a 13.0" length of pull and includes a wooden ramrod secured under the barrel.
As a black powder muzzleloader, this item does not require an FFL transfer, and it is serial number exempt as noted.
