This variant deletes the manual safety/decocker and uses a bobbed hammer, pairing a 3.94 in cold-hammer-forged, polygonal-rifled barrel with an O-ring for consistent lockup. It features fully ambidextrous controls, an integral MIL-STD-1913 rail, and a Hostile Environment finished steel slide. Included are two 8-round magazines, the factory case, manual, a cable lock, and a spare backstrap.

Variant 7 LEM provides HK's enhanced DAO trigger with a short reset and no manual safety or decocker, complemented by a bobbed hammer. The system delivers a consistent trigger stroke in a streamlined, snag-resistant configuration.
The 3.94 in steel barrel is cold-hammer-forged with polygonal rifling and uses an O-ring at the muzzle to promote repeatable lockup. The pistol operates via a recoil-operated, locked-breech, modified Browning linkless system.
Controls are fully ambidextrous, including slide releases on both sides and a paddle-style magazine release. The compact, glass-fiber-reinforced polymer frame includes an integral MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail and a lanyard hole at the rear of the mag well.
The steel slide wears HK's Hostile Environment finish and features front and rear serrations. Sights are low-profile, 3-dot, and drift-adjustable, with a green dot insert in the front sight for quick reference.
