Manufactured by Echave y Arizmendi (ECHASA) in Eibar, Spain, this Modelo GZ follows the MAB pattern with a simple blowback, single-action mechanism in .32 ACP. The slide legend reads: "ECHASA – EIBAR (ESPAÑA) CAL. 32 (7.65 m/m) MODELO GZ – MAB ESPAÑOLA," and the pistol is additionally marked "MADE IN SPAIN."
Construction pairs a steel slide with a light-alloy frame characteristic of the GZ series. An exposed spur hammer and a manual thumb safety provide straightforward controls consistent with the design.
Sighting is handled by small fixed irons: a front blade and a rear notch. The slide shows rear serrations. An external slide-mounted extractor with a visible claw at the ejection port is used, and a takedown/slide latch plate is present on the left side.
This micro-format pistol uses a 3" barrel and a single-stack magazine for a stated 7+1 capacity. Checkered synthetic grips carry "MAB ESPANOLA" logos, aligning with the model’s Spanish-produced MAB lineage.
