This limited-edition Model 336 carries the Centennial/100th Year treatment with a 1970 inlaid buttstock medallion and a barrel rollmark reading "EST. 1870 – MICRO-GROOVE BARREL – MOD. 336 – CAL. .30-30 WIN." It was manufactured in 1969 and configured as a pistol-grip carbine with two barrel bands and a full-length tubular magazine rated at 5+1.
The 20 in barrel uses Marlin's Micro-Groove rifling and is paired with practical iron sights: a hooded front ramp and an adjustable semi-buckhorn rear. This setup complements the .30-30 Winchester chambering and maintains the rifle's classic carbine handling.
The blued steel receiver is side-ejecting and houses a round bolt with the bolt body left in the white. It is drilled and tapped for scope bases and fitted with four filler screws. A gold-colored trigger and the absence of a cross-bolt safety are consistent with the 1970 production era.
Furniture consists of uncheckered walnut with a pistol grip, white-line spacer, and a black hard buttplate. Length of pull measures 13.5 in. An installed hammer spur extension enhances hammer access while preserving the rifle's clean lines and handling characteristics.
