Made in West Germany and marked with the Ulm antler and eagle/N nitro proofs, this PPK/S carries the two-letter date code "ID" for 1983. The slide is rollmarked "Made in W. Germany" and bears the INTERARMS ALEXANDRIA, VIRGINIA import mark, confirming its original U.S. import lineage.
The PPK/S configuration pairs a PP-length frame with a PPK slide and barrel, a design created to meet the 1968 GCA import criteria. This example retains the classic all-steel construction and a high-polish blued finish over both the slide and frame.
It uses a fixed-barrel, straight-blowback system with DA/SA operation. Controls include a slide-mounted safety/decocker with a red "fire" indicator and a left-side push-button magazine release. The ring hammer, vertical rear slide serrations, and serrated top rib round out the traditional PPK/S features.
Sights are fixed, with a rear notch and a front blade that includes a colored insert for quick reference. Factory black checkered plastic grips with Walther banners are installed, and spare checkered wood grip panels are included. Four 7-round magazines—two Mec-Gar with finger-rest baseplates and two unmarked with flush baseplates—are included, and the set is completed by a Walther factory presentation case, manual, and a suede pocket holster.
