Exothermic Technologies Pulsefire UBF AOW Underbarrel Picatinny Torch, Black Powder-Coat, PF-UBF
The Pulsefire UBF stands out as a compact, clamp-mounted, electrically pumped liquid-fuel torch designed for Picatinny/1913 rails. It delivers a typical reach of 25 ft or more from its onboard 0.25 gal reservoir and uses twin ceramic arc-ignition electrodes for reliable starts. Built primarily from aluminum and brass with a black powder-coat finish, it includes a detachable Picatinny handle for quick handheld use.

The UBF mounts directly to Picatinny/1913 rails via its clamp assembly, allowing fast attachment under a compatible platform. The detachable Picatinny handle lets you convert to handheld use quickly without tools, adding flexibility across tasks.
An electrically driven pump feeds fuel through a default 0.072 in solid-stream nozzle, while twin ceramic arc-ignition electrodes and a perforated drip shield support consistent ignition and controlled emission. The onboard reservoir holds 0.25 gal for roughly 20 seconds of runtime, with a typical reach of at least 25 ft.
The system runs on a 2200 mAh 3-cell rechargeable lithium battery with an integrated voltmeter and low-voltage cutoff. This setup helps manage power use and simplifies status checks before operation.
Construction centers on aluminum and brass with Viton seals and a black powder-coat finish. At 16.0 x 5.0 x 9.0 in and 6.0 lb empty, it maintains a compact footprint. Introduced in 2022, it is compatible with unleaded gasoline or gasoline/diesel mixes up to 50% diesel, and an optional backpack kit can extend runtime beyond 4 minutes.
