This Kimber Sapphire Ultra II is a Custom Shop Special Edition 9mm compact 1911 with factory ornamental border engraving and a high-polish sapphire blue PVD slide. Built with a 3.0-inch stainless bushingless bull barrel and an aluminum alloy frame in KimPro II Silver, it is part of Kimber's gem-tone lineup with limited distribution through the Master Dealer network. It includes three 8-round magazines and the original Kimber factory hard case.

As a Custom Shop Special Edition, this Sapphire Ultra II features a high-polish sapphire blue PVD slide with factory-cut ornamental scroll and border panels. Matching blue-finished small parts complement the slide for a cohesive presentation straight from Kimber.
The 3.0-inch stainless bushingless bull barrel and compact 1911 platform deliver a streamlined profile. The aluminum alloy frame wears a matte KimPro II Silver finish, keeping overall weight to approximately 25 oz while maintaining durability.
Sight elements are a fixed 3-dot setup with a single-dot front and a square-notch 2-dot rear. The slide includes rear serrations for traction, and the pistol uses a rowel-style hammer. Controls include a grip safety and a manual thumb safety consistent with the 1911 design.
Ergonomics are enhanced by thin blue/black G10 grips with longitudinal grooves. The pistol is chambered in 9mm Luger with an 8+1 capacity and comes with three 8-round single-stack magazines. Dimensions are 6.8 inches overall length, 4.75 inches in height, and 1.15 inches in width. Made in the USA.
