The CA-3 uses HK G3-pattern stamped-receiver architecture with a forward cocking tube and a semi-auto S E F-marked trigger housing. Its roller-delayed blowback action pairs with a fluted chamber to aid extraction, delivering the distinctive operation this platform is known for in .308 Win.
The 18 inch barrel is 4150 CMV steel and threaded 5/8x24, with a three-prong flash hider installed. The chamber is fluted, and the bore condition is excellent as noted above.
The rifle retains the standard HK sighting system with a rotary drum rear sight and a hooded front sight. Controls include a paddle-style magazine release and a manual safety.
Customization highlights include an aftermarket M-LOK aluminum handguard and a 6-position collapsible stock installed via adapter, plus a vertical foregrip. Also included are OD-green G3-pattern fixed stock, slim ("narrow") handguard, and pistol grip to configure the rifle with classic furniture.
