The Springfield Armory 1911 Ronin in .45 ACP is a full-size Government-pattern pistol built with a forged blued carbon-steel slide, a forged matte-stainless frame, and a forged stainless 5-inch barrel using a traditional bushing system. It carries a GI-style recoil system, high-visibility fiber-optic/tactical-rack sights, and checkered laminate wood grips with the Springfield Armory crossed-cannons logo laser-etched into the panels. This example is a recent-release PX9120L configuration, made in the USA, in very good condition with an excellent bore, and it includes the factory box, soft case, manual, and one 8-round magazine.

This Ronin is built on the 1911 platform in a full-size, Government-length format. The forged carbon-steel slide wears a deep blued finish, while the forged stainless-steel frame has a matte finish, creating the hallmark two-tone presentation. The forged and hammer-forged stainless barrel is paired with a traditional bushing system for a classic 1911 setup.
The pistol operates in single-action only and uses a GI-style recoil system with a standard short guide rod. Controls include a single-side thumb safety and a beavertail grip safety with a memory bump for consistent engagement. A skeletonized commander-style hammer complements the skeletonized long trigger with lightening cuts.
Sighting equipment is straightforward and fast: a red fiber-optic front sight set in a dovetail and a tactical rack rear with two white dots, drift-adjustable for windage. The slide carries front and rear angled serrations for secure manipulation.
Grip panels are checkered laminate wood with the Springfield Armory crossed-cannons logo laser-etched. Capacity is 8+1 with the included 8-round magazine. This is the PX9120L SKU and is a recent release in the Ronin series, made in the USA.
