Made in Russia at Tula Arsenal in 1942, this M91/30 shows the correct barrel-shank Tula star crest and wartime date. It uses the round-receiver configuration standard for the period and retains spring-retained barrel bands and sling slots without metal escutcheons, reflecting mid-war production features.
The rifle keeps its original pattern iron sights: a hooded front post and a tangent rear sight graduated in meters. Its 29-inch barrel and fixed 5-round internal magazine are paired with a straight bolt handle, and it employs the familiar cocking-piece safety.
The hardwood stock wears an arsenal shellac finish and features a grasping groove and crossbolt reinforcement, with a matching wood handguard. Sling slots are cut through the stock without metal escutcheons, consistent with its wartime build.
Import markings on the barrel identify Century Arms (Georgia, VT) along with the model and caliber. The bolt and floorplate are force-matched to a refurb serial, and an importer-applied serial is present.
