This PSA AKE-S is a U.S.-made AK-E Series side-folder in 7.62x39 that combines a cold hammer-forged, chrome-lined 16-inch barrel with a factory ALG Defense AKT single-stage trigger and reinforced internals. It features a 4340 hammer-forged front trunnion, a hammer-forged Nickel-Boron bolt and carrier, an extended aluminum M-LOK handguard with an integral top Picatinny section on the handguard that stops forward of the rear sight block, and B5 Systems furniture. It comes with two 30-round magazines: one phenolic (bakelite) and one steel.
Condition
Overall Condition: Very good condition, showing only light, superficial signs of prior handling or use.
Bore Condition: Excellent - Clean, mirror finish, no signs of wear.
Bore Rifling: Excellent Rifling - Sharp lands and grooves.

The stamped, dimpled AK-pattern receiver is rollmarked "AKE-S" and "PALMETTO STATE ARMORY, WEST COLUMBIA, SC" and finished in olive drab. A ribbed top cover and a side-folding hinge at the rear of the receiver complete the side-folder configuration. Selector legend reads "S A F," and a scope-mount provision is present.
The 16-inch barrel is cold hammer-forged, chrome-lined, high-pressure proofed, and magnetic particle inspected. It is marked "HP MP CL 7.62x39 1/9.45," uses a 1:9.45 twist, and is threaded M14x1 LH. A three-prong flash hider is installed.
Internals include a 4340 hammer-forged front trunnion (Lead Star Arms) and a hammer-forged Nickel-Boron bolt and carrier, paired with a long-stroke gas piston and rotating bolt action. The factory ALG Defense AKT single-stage trigger provides a crisp break.
The rifle wears a tan polymer B5 Systems adjustable, side-folding stock and a B5 Systems pistol grip. Up front, the extended aluminum M-LOK handguard provides a top Picatinny section on the handguard only; it stops forward of the rear sight block and does not bridge to the receiver. The gas tube is the standard, non-railed type. Iron sights include a protected front post and an AK tangent rear sight. Additional markings include a palm tree over crossed swords emblem.
