This Springfield Armory XD-9 Service Model is a full-size 9mm Luger pistol with a 4-inch, hammer-forged, Melonite-treated steel barrel and a black polymer frame. It features an ambidextrous magazine release, fixed 3-dot sights, and a full safety suite including a grip safety and both loaded chamber and striker status indicators. Manufactured by HS Produkt in Croatia for Springfield Armory, it comes with two 10-round magazines, the original molded hard case, and the factory XD manual. The bore is excellent.

The XD-9 Service Model configuration pairs a 4-inch barrel with a full-size grip, providing the classic XD profile in a durable, black-finished package. The slide includes front and rear cocking serrations for confident manipulation, and the integral accessory rail for mounting compatible lights or lasers.
The barrel is steel, hammer-forged, and Melonite treated for surface hardness and corrosion resistance. Sighting is straightforward and fast with a fixed 3-dot setup: a white dot front blade and a notched rear with white dots.
Controls are simple and safety-focused. This striker-fired XD includes an ambidextrous magazine release and layered safety features: a grip safety, a trigger safety tab, a loaded chamber indicator, and a striker status indicator. These indicators are also reflected on the slide for quick visual or tactile checks.
Manufactured by HS Produkt in Croatia for Springfield Armory, this pistol bears correct markings: "SPRINGFIELD INC., GENESEO, IL – MADE IN CROATIA" and "SPRINGFIELD ARMORY U.S.A." The serial number is repeated on the frame dustcover, slide, and barrel hood. Capacity is 10+1 with the included magazines.
