It features a 16 in 5.56 NATO barrel with a 1:9 twist, an A3/flat-top upper with T-marked rail, and an A2 front sight base. Installed enhancements include a Midwest Industries ventilated aluminum handguard with a continuous top rail, a B5 Systems Bravo adjustable stock, an ERGO SureGrip rubber pistol grip, and a Radian/AXTS Raptor ambidextrous charging handle. This STAG-15 is a direct-impingement AR-15 chambered in 5.56mm NATO with a 16 in barrel and a 1:9 twist, marked "STAG ARMS 5.56 NATO 1/9." The barrel is threaded and fitted with an A2 birdcage flash suppressor. It uses right-hand ejection and retains an A2 front sight base with a bayonet lug and side sling swivel.
The upper is an A3/flat-top with a T-marked Picatinny rail. A Midwest Industries ventilated aluminum handguard with a continuous top rail extends the uninterrupted mounting surface forward; the handguard is marked "Made in U.S.A."
Ergonomics are upgraded with a B5 Systems Bravo adjustable stock and an ERGO SureGrip rubber pistol grip. The adjustable stock allows length-of-pull changes to fit the shooter, and the ERGO SureGrip provides a positive gripping surface.
A Radian/AXTS Raptor ambidextrous charging handle is installed for bilateral operation. The receivers are aluminum with a black finish; the upper shows an "SA" forging mark, the lower is marked "STAG ARMS NEW BRITAIN, CT USA," and the bolt carrier has a bright/silver finish.
