Built on a fiber-reinforced polymer frame, this compact model includes HK's ambidextrous, paddle-style magazine release and proprietary universal accessory grooves on the dustcover. The factory Hostile Environment finish enhances corrosion resistance on the black slide and other metal components; the frame is black molded polymer.
The 3.58 inch barrel uses polygonal rifling, and the short-recoil, tilting-barrel action is paired with an extractor that functions as a loaded-chamber indicator. Fixed sights with a sight radius of 5.35 inches.
Proof and import markings include CIP N, the Ulm stag-horn, DE, HK date code BH (2017), and the HKI–Columbus GA import mark. Serial numbers match on the slide, barrel/chamber block, and frame insert, underscoring factory correctness. Capacity is 13+1 in 9mm Luger, with two metal double-stack magazines included.
