What’s Included
- Miroku Ultra-Hi Kentucky percussion pistol (.45 caliber, black powder only)
Built as a reproduction of the traditional Kentucky pistol, this single-shot uses percussion cap ignition with an external hammer and a single trigger. It incorporates an integral bolster breech (no clean‑out screw), consistent with period-style muzzleloading design.
The 10-inch octagonal steel barrel is marked ".45 CAL. BLACK POWDER ONLY" and pairs with fixed iron sights: a dovetailed front blade and a fixed rear notch. Capacity is one round.
Brass furniture includes the trigger guard, nose cap, two ramrod thimbles, a serpentine right-side plate, and oval escutcheons. A hardwood, one-piece stock with a Kentucky-style grip completes the traditional profile. Scroll-style engraving on the lockplate adds a tasteful period touch.
Factory markings read "MFG. FOR ULTRA-HI BY MIROKU JAPAN" and "PROOF TESTED" with a small circular crest, alongside the caliber/barrel notation. Made in Japan by Miroku for Ultra-Hi, this example is a clearly marked reproduction with features aligned to the classic Kentucky pattern.
