This M5 Carbine AR-9 pistol is built on an AR-15 pattern upper with a right-side ejection port and dust cover. The receiver is marked 'TROY M5 CARBINE CAL: 9MM' and 'OTHER FIREARM' with 'TROY W. SPRINGFIELD, MA U.S.A.' on the right side. It feeds from Glock-pattern magazines and is configured for a 10+1 capacity.
The threaded barrel is fitted with an MBX 9mm PCC compensator. The listing specifies a 13.5-inch barrel length; the photos also show '10 SS' near the muzzle—see the images for that marking.
Controls and upgrades include an ambidextrous extended-latch charging handle, a standard magazine release, a manual safety, and an upgraded skeletonized trigger. No sights are installed.
The Troy free-float M-LOK aluminum handguard features a full-length, T-marked Picatinny top rail and is marked with CAGE CODE 3E511 and U.S. patent text.
