The Mk3 MRD update adds an optics-ready MRD interface, a top ejection port window, and revised slide serrations for confident manipulation. The slide is marked on the right side with "Five-seveN Mk3 cal. 5.7x28," and the pistol carries factory marks "FN HERSTAL BELGIUM" and "FN COLUMBIA SC."
Its 4.8 in cold-hammer-forged, non-threaded barrel works with a delayed blowback system. The pistol uses a single-action trigger with an internal hammer and an ambidextrous manual safety.
The full-size polymer frame is finished in FDE and includes integral polymer frame with molded grip texture and FN logos. A 5-slot Picatinny accessory rail on the dust cover supports lights or lasers, and the adjustable iron sights pair a white dot front blade with an adjustable rear.
Chambered in 5.7x28mm, the Five-seveN Mk3 MRD offers a 20+1 capacity. Factory magazines include witness holes at 5, 10, 15, and 20 rounds. Overall length is 8.19 in, and the weight is approximately 1.50 lb with an empty magazine.
