Built at Cugir in Romania, this PSL-pattern rifle is chambered in 7.62x54R and uses a stamped-steel receiver marked FPK DRAGUNOV and MADE IN ROMANIA, with a TG KNOX TN import mark. Additional proofs include a triangle over '74' and a small '3'. The 24.4-inch barrel is paired with a PSL-pattern multi-ported muzzle brake.
The operating system is semiautomatic, gas-operated, long-stroke piston with a rotating bolt, and it uses a manual safety lever. Furniture consists of a wood fixed thumbhole stock with a rubber buttpad and a two-piece ventilated wood handguard. Length of pull is 12.75 inches.
Optics are well-supported by the factory left-side rail and the included Soviet PSO-1M2-1 4x scope made in Belarus. The quick-detach side mount secures a 4x24 PSO-pattern optic featuring an illuminated PSO-1 stadiametric reticle with chevron and holdover ladder, PSO-type external turrets, and a Cyrillic on/off switch. Backup iron sights include an adjustable tangent rear sight leaf graduated to 10 and a hoodless, open-ear front post.
This rifle uses the PSL-specific 10-round steel magazine (not interchangeable with SVD), providing a 10+1 capacity. While the receiver bears the FPK Dragunov trade name, the design is true PSL lineage derived from the RPK platform.
