Double-set triggers and an external flash guard at the pan round out a thoughtfully executed build that highlights traditional form and craftsmanship.

The 37.5-inch octagonal barrel is browned and fitted with open iron sights, including a front blade and a fixed rear notch dovetailed into the top flat. The action is a traditional flintlock with a gooseneck cock and a single-shot configuration.
The rifle employs double-set triggers for refined control. An external flash guard is fitted at the pan, adding a period-appropriate safety feature to this flintlock setup.
The full-length curly maple stock showcases extensive relief and incised carving. Furniture is bright metal throughout, including a crescent buttplate, engraved inlays and escutcheons, and an engraved toe plate. A large, hinged multi-pierced patchbox is a focal point on the butt.
Construction details include a pinned barrel retained by small cross-pins through the underlugs, with moustache escutcheons serving as solid decorative inlays (no keyways). A wood ramrod is carried beneath. The length of pull measures 14.0 inches. This example is unmarked, consistent with a custom build focused on fit, finish, and traditional styling.
