It combines a 20+1 capacity with practical features like a Picatinny accessory rail, ambidextrous thumb safety, and fiber-optic sights, and it comes with both 20- and 17-round magazines plus useful extras.

The 4.25-inch configuration centers on a forged stainless steel, bull, bushingless match-grade barrel with a 1:16 twist and a full-length guide rod with reverse plug. This setup supports smooth cycling and consistent lockup in a compact, carry-length slide.
The forged carbon steel frame pairs with a polymer double-stack grip module featuring aggressive texture and a flared magwell for confident control and fast reloads. Capacity is 20+1 with the extended magazine, and the left-side magazine release supports rapid magazine changes.
The slide wears a matte black Cerakote finish with front and rear cocking serrations and the Agency Optic System interchangeable plate interface. Sights include a green fiber-optic front in a dovetail and a black serrated U-notch rear that is drift-adjustable with a set screw.
Controls and safeties are modernized with an ambidextrous thumb safety, a grip safety with memory bump, and a skeletonized 3-hole trigger. A Picatinny accessory rail on the dust cover accepts compatible lights or accessories for duty or defensive roles.
Made in the USA, the 1911 DS Prodigy series was introduced in 2022 and brings a high-capacity 1911 platform to 9mm. This example includes the AOS optics plate and an uninstalled Underworld Arms Cyclops compensator with hardware, adding flexibility for the buyer.
